Accommodations for this yoga vacation are at the restored governor's mansion at the Hotel
Miramar Paraiso. This ecotourism hotel is located about 20 minutes from San
Blas near the small village of Santa Cruz, Mexico. The mansion in on a cliff
overlooking Matanchen Bay. There is a short path to the beach
and a beautiful sandy swimming beach about 200 yards away. There are 2 pools and beautiful
grassy areas for yoga and relaxation.
This is a yoga vacation you will never forget. The retreat is off the beaten track. The hotel is well off the main
road and the only sounds you will hear are the ocean and the birds. We
have ecotourism adventures every afternoon, or you can just relax.
There are no major hotels or
tourist areas for miles around so you will experience the real Mexico.
Ecotourism supports the local environment by bringing money into the
area and placing a financial benefit for preserving the environment.
Accommodations are for 2 people. Many singles attend the retreats.
We can fix you up with a roommate if you are traveling solo or if you
wish we can arrange a private room for an additional $250.
